Spaghetti w/ Mussels, Garlic & White wine
For 1
- 1 portion fresh spaghetti pasta
- 1 drizzle olive oil (about 10ml)
- 1 handful mussels (4 to 5) note: clams can be used
- 1 clove of sliced garlic (or danspasta garlic oil)
- 1 splash white wine (about 100ml)
- 1 handful chopped parsley (about 5g)
step 1: drizzle olive oil in a pan on low to medium heat, add sliced garlic (or danspasta garlic oil) and sliced chilli (optional)
step 2: add mussels to the pan and a generous splash of white wine and continue to cook for a minute. Place a lid on the pan and keep the heat on medium
step 3: drop the spaghetti into salted boiling water and cook for 2-3 minutes.
step 4: once the mussels have opened up, remove the lid and toss in chopped parsley

step 5: once the spaghetti is cooked, use tongs to add to the sauce. toss until every strand of spaghetti is coated in the sauce. season with salt and pepper to taste and serve!
