The Dan’s Pasta Origin Story
Dan’s Pasta began trading as a fresh pasta supplier in Sydney in 2020, when the global pandemic shut down New South Wales cafés and restaurants during lockdowns - and Sydney foodies rediscovered a love for cooking chef quality meals.
Seeing this, Chef Dan made a classic pandemic pivot and pursued a lifelong passion to make chef quality pasta that Sydney-siders ultimately went crazy for.
The business took off in the Sydney CBD, western Sydney suburbs, and Sydney’s north shore, with people travelling across Sydney to get their hands on Dan’s Pasta.
We very quickly became the local community’s trusted supplier of restaurant quality handmade pasta, including Chef Dan’s signature << Fresh Hand Cut Parisian Rosemary Gnocchi >>.
In 2022, as we left COVID lockdowns behind and people returned to dining at Sydney cafés and NSW restaurants, Chef Dan took the business to the next level.
As the Dan’s Pasta product range grew we transitioned from serving the local community, to supplying Sydney with fresh pasta for cafés and restaurants in the Sydney CBD, surrounding suburbs, and regional NSW.
